A Weatherflow mesonet site on the Indian River Lagoon near Parrish Park in Titusville recorded a gust of 35 knots from the north-northwest as a strong thunderstorm passed by. A peak gust of 43 knots was recorded ten minutes later.
Wider weather episode
An isolated thunderstorm produced wind gusts over 34 knots as it moved southeast from the mainland coast, across the intracoastal river to Cape Canaveral.
