An airline pilot relayed a report to Ft. Pierce Air Traffic Control of a waterspout associated with a heavy showers several miles offshore of Ft. Pierce.

Wider weather episode

Isolated showers moved north over the Atlantic during the morning and afternoon. Numerous reports were received of multiple waterspouts and funnel clouds offshore of St. Lucie County. Later in the afternoon, a large cluster of thunderstorms moved offshore coast of Brevard County and produced wind gusts well over 34 knots.
