What the National Weather Service wrote

USAF wind tower 0714 recorded a wind gust of 35 knots as a strong thunderstorm lifted north along the Brevard County coast. Five minutes later, nearby USAF mesonet site 0019 recorded a gust to 41 knots.

The wider storm

Numerous thunderstorms moved northward along the coastline of Brevard and Volusia Counties and produced wind gusts over 34 knots.

Began near Playalinda Beach (28.6400, -80.7500).
