On the evening of August 2 several storms moved into northern Missouri out of southern Iowa. As these storms pushed through the area they produced only a few hail reports, however several wind reports came in as these storms did some minor damage to areas in north central Missouri. The storms persisted through the evening and into the overnight hours of the morning on August 3.
