On 9/26 at 8:45 pm the NOS tide gage in Fernandina Beach reported 4.96 ft above NAVD88 which was 0.58 ft above the highest astronomical tide of 4.38 ft NAVD88. At 8:54 am on 9/27, the NOS gage at Fernandina Beach reach 4.93 ft which was 0.55 ft above the highest astronomical tide of 4.38 ft NAVD88 datum.

Wider weather episode

A period of persistent and the approach of the full Super Moon of 2015 created higher than normal tides along the local coast with minor flooding impacts around the times of high tides.
