The Automated Weather Observation Station at Block Island State Airport and the WeatherFlow reporting site at Block Island Jetty recorded wind gusts to 46 and 40 mph, respectively. This was associated with a thunderstorm moving across Block Island Sound. No damage was reported.

A strong cold front pushed across southern New England, producing widespread showers. These showers intensified as they moved across Cape Cod and the waters.
