A home owner on West Beach reported minor roof damage form the high winds overnight and during the day.

Wider weather episode

The remnants of Hurricane Patricia and an upper level storm system resulted in the development of a strong non tropical low over the northwest Gulf of Mexico. The low produced a long duration of strong southerly winds, which resulted in some isolated minor wind damage.
