Around 15 inches of rain fell over a few days on the basins to the Waccamaw River at Conway. The river subsequently rose to a major flood, cresting at 16.20 feet, the third highest crest of all time, and the highest crest since Hurricane Floyd. Over 400 homes were inundated, with evacuations necessary.
