Strong northerly winds developed across the Santa Monica Mountains. The RAWS sensor at Malibu Hills reported wind gusts up to 67 MPH while the sensor at Topanga reported wind gusts up to 58 MPH.
Wider weather episode
Another round of strong and gusty northerly winds impacted the mountains of Ventura and Los Angeles counties. Northerly wind gusts between 60 and 76 MPH were reported.
