A wind gust of 47 KT (54 MPH) was measured at Tuckerton as a cold front moved through the region.

A strong cold front moved west to east through New Jersey late Tuesday morning and early Tuesday afternoon. Heavy downpours associated with this front brought strong to severe wind gusts down to the surface. No lightning, and hence no thunderstorms, were associated with these strong to severe wind gusts.
