Snowfall totals were generally between 13 inches and 17 inches across the county. Ashland (1 N) reported 16.5 inches of snow. Beaverdam (4 ESE) reported 16.2 inches of snow. Hanover (1 SE) reported 13.0 inches of snow.

Strong Low Pressure moving from the Southeast United States northeast and off the Mid Atlantic Coast produced between eight and nineteen inches of snow and strong winds across central Virginia.
