The ASOS at Shelton had 38g66 mph at 217 PM. A CWOP at Pleasant Harbor had 30g61 mph at 252 PM. The Hood Canal bridge closed for about 2 hours.

Nearly 50000 people lost power.

A woman was transported with serious injuries and a family of five is displaced this afternoon after a large tree slammed into their home on Norland Court, near North Kitsap High School.

Medics treated the woman, and then transported her to Harrison Hospital in Bremerton. Poulsbo firefighters remained on scene to secure the power, water, and gas. The home is uninhabitable and the family is displaced at this time.
