The National Data Buoy Center Boston Buoy (44013) recorded a wind gust of 60 mph. No damage was reported.

The wider storm

Strong low pressure in the Gulf of Maine combined with approaching high pressure to develop a very strong pressure gradient over southern New England. This resulted in strong, sometimes damaging winds across the region.

Began near Minot Light (42.3500, -70.6900).
