The Dewey Beach Weatherflow recorded a wind gust of 36 knots during the passage of a thunderstorm.

A cold frontal boundary moved through the region late on the 22nd and the 23rd. Ahead of this front, a cluster of showers and thunderstorms moved over Delaware Bay and off the Delaware and Southern New Jersey coastlines late in the afternoon of the 22nd. At Dewey Beach, the Weatherflow station gusted to 37 knots at 4:05 pm.
