Event narrative
A waterspout was observed just south of Pensacola Beach. The spout dissipated just before moving ashore. Winds from the storm that produced the waterspout caused some minor damage near the shore. Some fences were blown down and a home that was being remolded had some minor damage.
Wider weather episode
Thunderstorms produced high winds over the marine area from 10 to 30 miles south of Pensacola Pass to 10 to 30 miles south of Navarre Beach. A couple of thunderstorms in the morning also produced waterspouts.
