A power line was blown down in the SE portion of the county. The time and location were based on radar.

Wider weather episode

Active weather pattern with mean layer mid level trough carving southward across the SE region and a surface front across the Appalachians. Strong wind shear combined with instability produced severe storms during the afternoon and evening. A couple of tornadoes touched down in SE Georgia.
