Emergency managers reported two persons swept away by flood waters of Mameyes river in sector Puente Roto.

Wider weather episode

A surface trough combined with the available moisture produced widespread showers and thunderstorms over mainland Puerto Rico. With the already saturated soils from previous days, urban flooding and flash flood affected the region.
