Prior to a severe thunderstorm moving out across the water, it overturned several large campers at Lakewood Campground which is less than seven tenths of a mile

inland from the intra-coastal waterway.

An approaching mid-level shortwave helped to generate scattered thunderstorms. A couple of storms briefly pulsed up to severe levels.
