Event narrative

Sumter County Emergency Management relayed reports of several small to medium limbs and a few larger trees and power lines were knocked down west of Bushnell and North of Nobleton. One tree fell on a house on CR 665, causing the resident to request Red Cross support.

Wider weather episode

Scattered thunderstorms developed along the sea breeze and moved northeast across the Nature Coast and into the north-central portion of the Florida Peninsula. One of these storms produced strong wind gusts and nickel sized hail in Sumter County.
