Workers on a platform in South Marsh Island Block 239 estimated a wind gust of 45 MPH with a passing storm.

A cold front moved into the coastal waters during the 19th. The frontal boundary then stalled and slowly returned north during the 20th, 21st, and 22nd. This produced multiple days of unsettled weather across the coastal waters.
