Event narrative

A trained spotter reported that numerous healthy poplar trees of around a foot and a half in diameter were blown down onto portions of Route 127 near Snow Snake Ski and Golf. Several trees were also blown down on the golf course.

Wider weather episode

Isolated severe storms resulted in a few reports of wind damage that included downed trees and limbs and power lines. The hardest hit area was near Harrison in Clare county.
