The WeatherFlow reporting site at Hull recorded a 57 mph wind gust associated with a thunderstorm. No damage was reported.

Wider weather episode

Cold air aloft moved over southern New England in conjunction with an upper level disturbance. The combination of these things resulted in an unstable atmosphere that produced showers and thunderstorms across southern New England. While not widespread, a few storms did produce damaging winds.
