A waterspout was observed and shared on social media by the public about 2 miles south of Flamingo in Florida Bay.

Wider weather episode

Showers and thunderstorms became enhanced across Florida Bay and the Upper Keys as the northern extension of a tropical wave moved into the northwest Caribbean Sea, and an upper level low pressure system moved into the Bay of Campeche.
