Event narrative

A Pineville man was walking while holding an umbrella for another person after leaving church services. Lightning struck the umbrella sending the holder to the ICU where he died several days later from his injuries.

An isolated severe storm developed over Calcasieu Parish while a thunderstorm in Rapides Parish struck a couple of individuals.
