Low pressure over southern Oregon combined with a convergence zone across the Blue Mountain Foothills and Grande Ronde Valley produced heavy snow. Snowfall amounts in inches included Pendleton NWS (4.8), Athena (4.5), Gibbon (5), Union (6), Cove (5), Pilot Rock (5.7), Weston (6.2).
