An amateur radio operator reported a wind gust of 42 mph at the Wellfleet marina. No damage was reported.

A cold front moved through southern New England and when coupled with the existing heat and humidity, resulted in showers and thunderstorms developing over much of the area late in the day and continuing into the evening and overnight hours.
