Nine direct injuries (heat exhaustion) and twelve indirect injuries ( cramps during football).

Temperatures soared into the mid 90's across Delaware. This was coupled with a considerable amount of outdoor activities going on including several high school football games. 12 players cramped up during the Carvel @ Concord game. Five people at White Clay Creek State park suffered from heat exhaustion with four more occurrences in Baynard stadium.
