The Macon County 911 center reported multiple trees blown down across the county from around Ideal along Highway 90 north of town and Highway 240 south of town to north of Oglethorpe along Highway 128.

A very moist and moderately unstable airmass over the region, combined with strong daytime heating and a series of weak short waves moving over the state, resulted in scattered severe thunderstorms each afternoon and evening.
