All locations in Palau received adequate rainfall and the country was no longer in drought. Even though the Weather Service Office in Palau received only 8.28 inches of rain, more than 8 inches below average, the trend was for more rainfall. The southern island of Peleliu saw 5.90 inches of rain by mid-month which was more than average.
