A strong low moved into the Gulf of Alaska on January 20th. Snow moved into Kodiak Island and Prince William Sound as the low approached. In advance of the front associated with this storm strong wind blew across Kodiak Island and Prince William sound creating blizzard conditions across Kodiak Island and in northern Prince William Sound in Thompson Pass.
