Several people are cleaning up from extensive damage to their homes and cars in parts of Pierce and Thurston Counties after Saturday's storm rolled through Western Washington.

Several trees also fell onto Silvia Hogan's car in the parking lot of her Lakewood apartment complex. Her neighbor's car was hit, too.

Wider weather episode

A home was destroyed near Olympia, and trees fell on a few cars in Lakewood.
