The Minam 4 Prescribe Burn experienced heavy winds that came in late Friday night and early Saturday morning causing the fire to go outside of the planned prescription area.

The fire is burning near Cougar Ridge in the Wallowa Fire Zone and is approximately 750 acres with the majority inside the wilderness boundary, 17 miles West of Joseph, Oregon. Regained control by end of October 2nd, beginning of October 3rd.
