A mature waterspout was observed about 12 miles south of Tea Table Key with a spray ring visible.

A deepening upper trough in the eastern Gulf of Mexico promoted strong thunderstorm development near the Upper Florida Keys. Waterspouts and scattered gale-force wind gusts were reported.

Began near Tennessee Reef Light (24.7200, -80.6600).
