Heavy rain caused culverts and low-lying urban areas to flood, including 4th and Morrison. Also flooding was reported at the Portland State University Bookstore.

Wider weather episode

Warm front moving north across the area brought heavy rain to the Willamette Valley. Rainfall totals of 1 to 1.5 inches were recorded in the North Willamette Valley causing urban flooding in the Portland Metro area.
