A weather station at Mary's Peak, elevation approximately 4000 feet, measured sustained winds up to 59 mph with gusts peaking at 92 mph. In an adjacent zone, the broadcast media also reported a trees down along Chehalem Valley road.
Wider weather episode
A strong low pressure system moved up the Coast bringing strong winds to the North Oregon Coast, North Oregon Coast Range, and North and Central Willamette Valley.
