Event narrative

Emergency Management reported that road PR-114 was flooded due to heavy rains. The flooded area included portions between the interception of highway PR-2 and road PR-319 between Cabo Rojo gas and Las Acacias electric Plant.

Wider weather episode

Ample low level moisture combined with daytime heating and local effects to produce scattered to numerous showers with thunderstorms across the southwestern section of Puerto Rico.
