Hydaburg AWOS observed gusts to 69 mph. A truck windshield was blown out near Klawock. Cape Decision had gusts to 101 MPH.
Wider weather episode
A monster 956 MB Hurricane force low developed covering much of the North Pacific Ocean including the Gulf of Alaska on 11/9. The associated front with a 979 MB wave moved into the eastern Gulf on the morning of 11/10. Very strong winds developed for Prince of Wales Island but missed the rest of the coast. Minor damage was reported on the west coast of Prince of Wales Isl.
