The Weatherflow station in Choctawhatchee Bay recorded a wind gust of 44 mph.

Numerous showers and thunderstorms developed across the coastal waters of Alabama and the western Florida panhandle in response to a northward moving warm front over the northern Gulf and an upper level low ejecting east out of south central Texas. A few of the storms produced strong wind gusts over the western Florida Panhandle coastal waters.
