Event narrative
Heavy rain resulted in flooding of the Nehalem River near Vernonia. The Nehalem River reached flood stage at 915 PM on November 24th, and crested at 12.5 feet at 1246 AM on November 25th. The river dropped below flood stage at 418 AM on November 25.
Wider weather episode
A moist Pacific front moving slowly across the area produced heavy rainfall, resulting in flooding of several rivers across Northwest Oregon and at least two landslides.
