One person died in Rochester after suffering a heart attack while shoveling snow. COOP and volunteer snow observers reported that 6 to 8 inches of snow fell across Olmsted County. The highest reported total was 8.3 inches from the official NWS observations at the Rochester airport.

One person died in Rochester (Olmsted County) after suffering a heart attack while shoveling snow. A winter storm dropped a band of 4 to 10 inches of snow across southeast Minnesota on December 10th and 11th. Despite the snow being light and fluffy, there was not much wind with the storm, so the main impact was snow covered roads. The highest reported totals were 10 inches near Zumbro Falls (Wabasha County) and 9.3 inches in the city of Winona (Winona County).
