Between three and four inches of snow fell on Western Kent County.

An area of low pressure developed south of New England Friday night the 16th, moved along the Southern New England coast on Saturday the 17th, and moved to the Maritimes by Sunday the 18th. This combined with cold air already in place over the region brought a broad area of snow over Southern New England.
