While areas on the east side of the central Columbia River Gorge saw up to 12 inches of snow, areas farther west saw less snow and up to 1 inch of ice accumulation.

Wider weather episode

A strong frontal system brought strong east winds to the North Willamette Valley and a mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain down to the Valley Floor.
