Around 0.10 inch of ice accumulation was reported in northern portions of the county. Scattered power outages occurred and a few trees were downed due to the combination of ice and strong winds.

Wider weather episode

Intense low pressure moving east northeast across Virginia and off the Delmarva coast produced minor ice accumulations from freezing rain and strong winds across portions of central Virginia. This resulted in downed trees and power lines, and scattered power outages due to the combination of wind and ice.
