Around 0.10 inch of ice accumulation was reported north of Route 360 in King and Queen county. Trees and power lines were downed due to the combination of ice and strong winds.
Wider weather episode
Intense low pressure moving east northeast across Virginia and off the Delmarva coast produced minor ice accumulations from freezing rain and strong winds across portions of central Virginia. This resulted in downed trees and power lines, and scattered power outages due to the combination of wind and ice.
