A weather instrument on top of Marys Peak (elevation around 4,000 feet) recorded sustained winds up to 55 mph, with gusts up to 81 mph. High wind gusts also occurred in an adjacent zone.
The wider storm
Low pressure system that made landfall near the mouth of the Columbia River brought high winds to the Oregon Coast and Coast Range.
