Wider weather episode

An upper trough was over western New Mexico with plenty of lift and moisture across West Texas. There was a dryline in place across the eastern Permian Basin. The atmosphere was very unstable and wind shear values were very good. These conditions allowed for storms with large hail to develop across West Texas.
