Two girls died due to rip currents on the 15th. One girl died that night at a local hospital. The other girl was on live support for a few days before passing away.

Meteorological conditions were favorable for moderate to high rip current conditions from the 15th through the 18th. Unfortunately, four people died due to rip currents and one other person was injured.
