Two teenagers died due to rip currents. They were deemed missing and presumed dead by local law enforcement.

Wider weather episode

Meteorological conditions were favorable for moderate to high rip current conditions from the 15th through the 18th. Unfortunately, four people died due to rip currents and one other person was injured.
