The ASOS at the Big Piney airport reported a wind gust of 64 mph.

A combination of a weak shortwave moving across Wyoming and very large dew point depressions brought very strong wind gusts to some areas as showers and thunderstorms collapsed. Wind gusts of 64 and 58 mph were reported at the Riverton and Big Piney ASOS stations, respectively.
