An unseasonably cold storm system produced snow in excess of 10 inches across the higher elevations of the Mosquito and eastern Sawatch Ranges, and less er amounts at lower elevations. In Lake, Teller and El Paso Counties, up to 6 inches occurred around Woodland Park and the Air Force Academy, 8 inches in the Black Forest and Leadville, and 10 inches around Monument.
